Which dining room should you ask for?
Ask for the Scènes de Paris room in the comment box. The restaurant describes six rooms, and only one is the corner room with two views: the Institut de France on one side and the Seine on the other. For two people on a quiet evening, the Bibliothèque, the library room, is the restaurant's own suggestion for an intimate meal.

Lunch or dinner?
Lunch, unless the evening is the occasion. The lunch menu shares courses with the 760 euro menu, including the hot and cold beetroot and "Colours of caviar", and serves them in 90 minutes for less than half the price. The deposit is lower too. Dinner is the full menu and the full evening.
Saturday is the other day to know: the restaurant adds a classic French dish to the menu each Saturday and posts it on Instagram on Thursday.
