Which room should you book at Aman Venice? I'd book a Palazzo Stanza Canal Grande: it is the least expensive room that faces the Grand Canal, 57 to 70 square meters, and on November 4, 2026 the hotel's own booking page priced it at 3,500 euros a night for April 9 to 11, 2027. The three rooms below it cost less because they look at the palazzo's garden, not the canal.
Aman Venice is the hotel inside Palazzo Papadopoli, one of the eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal, in San Polo, a short walk from St Mark's Square. The garden is the hotel's rarity in Venice, so a garden room is a real choice, not a consolation. One room type. For two nights, November 20 to 22, 2026, the booking page offered only the Palazzo Stanza Canal Grande, at 3,800 euros a night, on November 4, 2026. Which Aman Venice room should you skip?
Skip the Palazzo Bedroom if you came for the canal; it looks only at the garden. It is the right booking for a light sleeper or a long stay where the price gap, 1,400 euros a night against the Stanza in April, matters more than the view.
I would also not book the Alcova Tiepolo Suite for the view. Its reason is the 18th-century frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, the Venetian painter, on its walls and ceiling; its windows face the garden terrace, not the canal.
Who should pay for a suite at Aman Venice?
- A family: the Grand Canal Suite, 97 square meters, can be set up with two bedrooms, the only suite whose page says so.
- A couple for a special trip: the Papadopoli Stanza Canal Grande, with a fireplace, frescoes and a bathroom that looks onto the canal, for 2,200 euros a night more than the entry Stanza in April.
