The Giardini holds the national pavilions in a park at the eastern end of Venice; the Arsenale is the former shipyard a 10 minute walk away with the main exhibition in its long halls. Doing both in one day means rushing the second. Take the ticket that allows separate days, start each at 10am, and leave the afternoons for the rest of the city.\nI'd skip the first public weekend, May 8 and 9, 2027: May 6 and 7 are the pre-opening, and the days right after it draw the biggest crowds."
